Nikola Tesla  was born in 10 July 1856 at Smiljan, current day Croatia. A man of many talents and achievements , he was mainly celebrated for winning the “War of the Currents”, against Thomas Edison. He won because  of   developing the Alternating Current electrical supply system, which is used everywhere in the world today. Szentendre is a charming town in Pest county, north of  the capital of Hungary, Budapest, on the Danube riverside. It is known for its historic architecture, museums , art galleries, and artists.  It has become a popular destination for tourists staying in Budapest because of its closeness, easy rail and river commute. It has  a marzipan sculpture museum, Szabo Marzipan Museum. In the river there was an art installation called River-Pool by Vincze Otto.
